Journalist Alasdair Gold believes that Tottenham were wrong to sell Luka Vuskovic this summer after watching him shine at Brighton.
Journalist Alasdair Gold has questioned Tottenham Hotspur's summer decision to sell 19-year-old defender Luka Vuskovic to Brighton and Hove Albion. Brighton signed the Croatian center-back on a permanent transfer in July for a club-record fee of £46 million, with up to £4 million in potential add-ons and a 20 percent sell-on clause included in the deal.
Vuskovic joined Tottenham from Hajduk Split in 2023 and scored six goals in 28 matches during a loan spell with German club SV Hamburger. Since joining Brighton, Vuskovic featured in a 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over Manchester United and contributed to a clean sheet during a 3-0 Premier League win against Arsenal.
