The Story in 60 Seconds

Shakhtar Donetsk is set to reopen negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur to seek a compensation package following winger Manor Solomon's transfer to West Ham. Chief executive Sergei Palkin revealed that the Ukrainian club plans to approach Spurs officially after Solomon completed a permanent move for an initial £5m fee.

Solomon originally joined Tottenham on a free transfer in July 2023 under a FIFA ruling that suspended contracts following the invasion of Ukraine.
