Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro was forced off in the 19th minute of his side's 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa on Saturday. The Spain international went down unchallenged and was replaced by Archie Gray. Manager Roberto De Zerbi suggested that Porro likely suffered a hamstring injury but expressed hope that the issue is not too serious.
Porro has withdrawn from the Spain squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures, giving him three weeks to recover before Tottenham's next match. The defender had recently returned to the starting lineup after missing a midweek Carabao Cup tie against Liverpool.
