The Tottenham player who will go under the radar despite huge performance at Old Trafford

Football London's Alasdair Gold argues that Archie Gray delivered a stand-out display for Tottenham Hotspur at Manchester United despite playing out of position at right-back. The 20-year-old midfielder recorded 14 defensive contributions, including seven ball recoveries, three interceptions, three tackles, and seven duel wins across 98 minutes, outperforming teammates defensively while facing Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Amad.

Gold notes that Gray's versatile minutes have increased following Djed Spence's summer transfer to Inter and Pedro Porro's hamstring injury. Manager Roberto De Zerbi previously praised Gray's potential and tipped him as a future Tottenham captain, though Gray reportedly hopes to eventually return to his natural midfield role.
