Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro has withdrawn from the Spain national team squad after suffering an apparent hamstring injury. The 27-year-old was forced off after just 19 minutes during Tottenham's 3-2 Premier League defeat against Aston Villa on Saturday. Manager Roberto De Zerbi expressed hope that the injury would not be a major issue for the full-back.
Following the match, the Spanish Football Federation confirmed Porro would miss the upcoming Nations League fixtures against England, Croatia, and Czechia. Tottenham's next match is scheduled against Manchester United on Saturday, October 10, leaving Porro's availability for that fixture in doubt.
