Tottenham make offer for JJ Gabriel but suffer blow as clear front-runner emerges

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made an offer to sign 15-year-old Manchester United academy winger JJ Gabriel. The teenager has requested to be released from his contract with the Manchester club, sparking interest from several major European teams. Tottenham face stiff competition as they attempt to secure the highly-rated youngster's signature.

Real Madrid have emerged as the front-runners to sign Gabriel, having covertly worked on a deal for several months. Other interested clubs include Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea. Meanwhile, Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada is actively working to convince the player to stay, and the club has not yet sanctioned his release.
