Tottenham: Vinai Venkatesham reveals bold Spurs target and confirms relegation ‘plan’

Tottenham chief executive Vinai Venkatesham stated the club is targeting Premier League and Champions League titles under manager Roberto De Zerbi. Speaking on The Sports Agents podcast, Venkatesham insisted everyone at the club must remain relentless in pursuing trophies, despite Spurs narrowly avoiding relegation in the previous campaign. He also confirmed that the club had formulated contingency plans for possible relegation last season, calling it irresponsible not to do so.

Tottenham finished 17th in each of the past two seasons, securing survival on the final day of last term with a 1-0 win over Everton. De Zerbi, who took charge in March following stints by Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor, has guided Spurs to ninth place on the back of three consecutive victories ahead of their clash with Leeds.
