Tottenham Hotspur loanee Yang Min-hyeok scored his first goal for Westerlo in a 5-1 victory over Antwerp in round eight of the Belgian Pro League. After coming on as a substitute for the final five minutes, the South Korean winger cut in from the right wing onto his left foot and curled a shot into the top corner.
The goal followed Yang's success with the South Korea Under-23 national team, where he secured a gold medal at the Asian Games. By winning the tournament, Yang earned an exemption from mandatory military service, requiring him to complete only basic training and community service as his European career continues.
