Former Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has revealed his frustration with club chairman Daniel Levy during an interview with The Athletic. Conte recounted messaging Levy after a poor result, only to be told not to worry because they would win the next game. The Italian tactician expressed irritation over an accepting attitude toward losing and noted his goal was to change the culture after joining in November 2021.
Conte departed Spurs in March 2023, leaving Tottenham as the only managerial stop in his career where he failed to win a trophy. Despite taking the club from ninth to a fourth-place finish in his first season, Conte struggled against external perceptions of the squad, and he has now been linked with a potential move to Manchester United.
