Xavi Simons is stepping up his recovery, as the attacking midfielder hopes to be back in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt sooner than expected. Spurs’ attack…

Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Xavi Simons is reportedly aiming to return to action by late December, ahead of the medical staff's January timeline. The Dutch international has been sidelined since April due to an ACL injury and has recently commenced outdoor training. Manager Roberto De Zerbi is eager to bolster his midfield options, particularly following a suspected groin injury suffered by James Maddison against Chelsea.
In additional squad updates, Tosin Adarabioyo and Lucas Bergvall could reportedly return for Tottenham's upcoming fixture against Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Destiny Udogie, Savio, and Mykhailo Mudryk are slated to remain out until November, with Wilson Odobert targeting a December return.
