Tottenham loanee Yang Min-Hyeok won Asian Games gold with South Korea after setting up the winner against Japan in the 1-0 football final.

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Yang Min-Hyeok won an Asian Games gold medal after helping South Korea defeat Japan 1-0 in the final. The 20-year-old started the match and played 66 minutes, setting up the winning goal scored by teammate Eom Ji-sung. The victory secured South Korea's fourth consecutive men's football gold medal at the Asian Games.
Declan Farr writes that the tournament triumph provides Tottenham with a clear marker of Yang's international progress while he spends the season out on loan. Farr notes, however, that an international tournament contribution is not a substitute for consistent senior minutes at the club level.
