Xabi Alonso has spoken to the press ahead of Chelsea's clash against Sunderland.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso provided a fitness update on four players ahead of Sunday's match during a press conference at Cobham Training Ground on Friday. Alonso confirmed that midfielder Moises Caicedo has been nursing a minor issue, describing it as a discomfort rather than a calf injury following Chelsea's 2-0 win over Manchester United.
Alonso also stated that goalkeeper Emi Martinez faces a late fitness test after undergoing surgery for a fractured jaw. Additionally, defender Jorrel Hato remains several weeks away from fitness, while Aaron Anselmino has resumed training for over a week.
