Real Betis 2-5 Barcelona: Yamal-inspired Catalans join Real Madrid in history books with five-star showing

Barcelona secured a 5-2 victory against Real Betis at Estadio de la Cartuja to maintain a perfect start to their La Liga campaign. Karim Adeyemi and Gabriel Jesus both started the match, with Jesus scoring early in the second half. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring with a 25-yard curling effort, while Rodri, Eric Garcia, and Dani Olmo also found the net for Barcelona.

Real Betis scored through Diego Valentin Gomez and Abde Ezzalzouli, but their momentum halted after Facundo Bernal was sent off for attempting to headbutt Yamal. The result marked Barcelona's ninth consecutive league victory, matching a historical milestone, while winger Raphinha also returned from injury ahead of the upcoming Clasico.
