A referee has died in hospital hours after falling ill during Feyenoord's youth match against Utrecht

Referee Paul Ramdayal passed away in the hospital after falling ill while officiating a youth match on October 3. The tragedy occurred during an Under-13 fixture between Feyenoord and FC Utrecht at the Varkenoord training complex in Rotterdam.
Feyenoord confirmed Ramdayal's death in an official statement, noting that he was a regular referee for youth games and offering support to his family. The tragic incident coincided with the opening day of the Dutch FA's Referee Week.
