Grêmio manager Renato Gaúcho strongly criticized his squad following a 4-2 home defeat against Cruzeiro on Sunday, October 18. The loss at Arena do Grêmio leaves the team winless since Gaúcho returned as manager and keeps them firmly mired in the Brasileirão relegation zone.
Cruzeiro secured the victory behind a hat-trick from forward Kaio Jorge in the matchweek 31 fixture. Gaúcho publicly expressed frustration with the available players at his disposal as the Rio Grande do Sul side continues to struggle near the bottom of the table.
