United will give their injured players every opportunity to make the Tannadice clash.

Dundee United duo Lachie Rose and Mehdi Merghem are injury doubts ahead of their upcoming clash against Aberdeen. Manager Jim Goodwin confirmed that Rose rolled his ankle after coming on as a substitute against St Johnstone, while Merghem is still recovering from an ongoing knee problem and has not yet resumed training.
Goodwin remains hopeful about their progress, noting Merghem could return soon if he misses the weekend fixture. Meanwhile, the manager called on his attacking unit, including Idjessi Metsoko and Zac Sapsford, to be more ruthless in front of goal to improve United's form.
