The Story in 60 Seconds

Celtic secured their first Europa League victory of the season with a dramatic 3-2 home win over Besiktas. After a scoreless first half, Besiktas took the lead in the 54th minute when Olaitan scored from a rebound following his saved penalty. Celtic manager Martin O'Neill responded with substitutions that turned the game around, with Callum Osmand scoring an immediate equalizer before setting up Camilo Duran to put Celtic 2-1 ahead.

Besiktas looked to have salvaged a point when Orkun Kokcu leveled the match from 25 yards out in the 86th minute. However, Duran struck again just a minute later from a Kieran Tierney cross to seal all three points. The victory lifts Celtic to 32nd place with three points after four Europa League fixtures.
