Benjamin Nygren fires back at ‘stupid’ media criticism over Celtic

Celtic attacker Benjamin Nygren has addressed recent media criticism following the club's run of three consecutive defeats against Rangers and Ferencvaros. Speaking to Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen, the 25-year-old Sweden international stated that he avoids reading what he characterized as stupid comments during difficult spells, emphasizing that media coverage often views performances strictly in black or white.

Despite the recent dip in team form, including a 1-0 defeat against Rangers at Celtic Park, Nygren has recorded five goals and six assists in 12 appearances this season. Nygren acknowledged the immense pressure at Celtic, noting that supporters rightly expect victories in every fixture and that failing to win is simply not good enough.
