Fans of the Turkish side could be seen setting off flares in the city centre and getting into a scuffle with cops.

Beşiktaş ultras caused disruption in Glasgow by setting off fireworks outside Celtic pubs and clashing with police ahead of a Europa League match. Video footage showed supporters lighting pyrotechnics on Bell Street in Merchant City near Connolly's bar prior to the fixture at Celtic Park on Bonfire Night. Scuffles broke out later as officers escorted the visiting fans through the Trongate area.
Police Scotland confirmed that officers attended the disturbance on Bell Street and escorted supporters to the stadium, confirming no arrests or injuries were directly linked to the procession. Celtic went on to secure a 3-2 victory over the Turkish side under manager Martin O'Neill.
