Celtic right-back Colby Donovan has signed a new long-term contract that will keep him with the Scottish champions until the summer of 2031. The 20-year-old academy graduate described his rapid rise as a "rollercoaster" after establishing himself in the first team and earning a call-up to the senior Scotland squad for recent UEFA Nations League fixtures.
Donovan has made 15 starts this season while deputizing for injured defender Alistair Johnston. Manager Martin O'Neill praised the youngster's resilience and maturity, while Donovan hopes to overcome a knock sustained against Hibs to feature against Dundee United.
