Celtic has issued an urgent warning and detailed travel advice to supporters heading to Lisbon for Thursday's Europa League fixture against Benfica. Following guidance from local police and Benfica, fans traveling to the Estádio da Luz are advised to arrive by 6:00 p.m., two hours before kickoff, to navigate security checks.
Supporters must access the away section via Gate 23V and carry photographic identification, though physical passports are not required inside the ground. Strict venue rules prohibit face coverings, smoking, and alcohol sales in away concourses, while the cashless stadium requires fans to stay strictly within designated away seating.
