The Celtic Season Ticket Alliance Trust has confirmed that 3,000 season ticket holders have joined its initiative. Launched and funded by Willie Haughey alongside Celtic legend Paul McStay, the Alliance aims to give match-going supporters a voice on the club's board. The Trust announced that it currently holds voting rights on 800,000 shares in the club.
The initiative was initially unveiled in February following fan protests, with Haughey pledging to purchase £2 million in shares for every 10,000 season ticket holders who sign up. An official joining campaign is expected to launch in October when McStay returns to Glasgow.
