Celtic goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo kept a clean sheet as Finland defeated San Marino 7-0 in their Group C1 international fixture. Joel Pohjanpalo scored a hat-trick, alongside goals from Adrian Svanbäck, Benjamin Källman, and Leo Walta. San Marino managed just one total attempt and recorded zero shots on target throughout the 90 minutes.
The shutout provided a reset for Sinisalo following criticism for his error in Celtic's recent 1-0 defeat to Rangers, where Ryan Naderi scored from a rebound. With domestic football paused, Sinisalo is slated to feature in upcoming fixtures against Belarus and Albania.
