Celtic turned on the style to humiliate Hearts after Rangers failed to take the chance to move to the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to four points following a 7-1 rout of Hearts. Front three Benjamin Nygren, Callum Osmand, and Camilo Duran all scored after Celtic struck five first-half goals. Meanwhile, Rangers missed the chance to go top after a late error from Dan Neil resulted in a 2-2 draw at Dundee.
Hibernian slipped to the bottom of the table under new manager Marink Reedijk following a 2-1 loss to Falkirk, marking six league matches without a victory. Elsewhere, Motherwell and St Mirren both suffered their fifth straight league defeats, falling 3-2 to Kilmarnock and 3-1 to Aberdeen, respectively.
