Celtic told their biggest problem position amid rotten run of form

Former Celtic midfielder Scott Allan has identified the midfield as the primary issue behind Celtic's recent dip in form under manager Martin O'Neill. The Scottish Premiership club has suffered three consecutive defeats heading into the international break, including back-to-back losses in Old Firm derbies against rivals Rangers as well as a defeat to LASK.

Allan stated that opponents have overpowered Celtic physically in the middle of the pitch. He noted that Celtic abandoned their usual 4-3-3 tactical identity to play more directly against Rangers' 3-5-2 system, which resulted in poor performances and failed to yield positive results.
