Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has heavily criticized Celtic following their 1-0 defeat to Rangers at Parkhead. Sutton stated that Celtic were "lucky to lose 1-0" and described the team as looking "thrown together" and lacking physicality in the midfield. Despite the defeat, Celtic remain at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
The loss to Rangers marks Celtic's third consecutive defeat in a difficult seven-day period. Martin O'Neill's side previously lost to Rangers at Ibrox and suffered a 3-1 Europa League defeat against Ferencvaros. Sutton warned that Celtic have been "miles off it" in every major test they have faced this season.
