FARES GHEDJEMIS emerged as a transfer target for BOTH Celtic and Rangers in the summer. But if either Glasgow giant harboured hopes of rekindling interest in the Algeria international, then those now look to be OVER. Ghedjemis, 24, first appeared…

Former Celtic and Rangers transfer target Fares Ghedjemis has decided his future by signing a new long-term contract with Frosinone until 2030. The 24-year-old Algeria international confirmed the agreement by posting an image of the signing on Instagram, putting an end to speculation regarding a potential transfer to the Scottish Premiership clubs.
Both Glasgow rivals had shown keen interest in Ghedjemis during the summer, but Frosinone resisted bids by placing an £18 million price tag on the winger. Sporting director Renzo Castagnini previously confirmed that the Italian club held a strong financial position, allowing them to retain Ghedjemis on a permanent contract extension.
