Celtic are crying out for a dominant midfielder, and Glenn Loovens believe they may already have one.

Former Celtic defender Glenn Loovens believes summer signing Joel van den Berg is the box-to-box midfielder Celtic need. Loovens praised the 19-year-old Dutch midfielder's physical size, talent, and goal-scoring eye from his time watching him at Jong PSV, predicting he will become a huge success for the Scottish club.
Van den Berg joined Celtic from PSV Eindhoven in a permanent €4 million transfer during the summer. The Celtic Bhoys notes that the midfielder has yet to debut due to an injury, though the club seeks a presence following the loss of Arne Engels.
