Former Celtic star Paul Lambert has been discussing Matin O'Neill's future as the club's manager amid growing pressure.

Former Celtic player Paul Lambert has stated that Celtic should not sack manager Martin O'Neill despite recent pressure. O'Neill faces mounting scrutiny following three consecutive defeats, including two Old Firm losses and a Europa League defeat to Ferencvaros. Lambert believes the veteran manager has earned the right to decide his own future.
Speaking to BBC Sport Scotland, Lambert noted that O'Neill holds plenty of credit after leading Celtic to a league and cup double last season. Lambert indicated he would be shocked if the club dismissed the 74-year-old manager, suggesting Celtic should allow him to leave on his own terms if he chooses.
