Neil Lennon has questioned Celtic's staff and decision-making after Alistair Johnston suffered an injury setback just 21 minutes into his comeback against Hibernian. Speaking on Sky Sports Scotland, Lennon expressed confusion over why Johnston was cleared to play, warning that recurring hamstring problems pose a major concern for the Canadian defender.
Johnston had replaced Colby Donovan in the 52nd minute before being substituted for Cameron Carter-Vickers in the 73rd minute. Celtic manager Martin O'Neill stated that Johnston felt discomfort higher up the muscle, noting that scans are required to determine if it is a reoccurrence or cramp.
