Petrov explains major advantage Durán and Osmand partnership gives Celtic

Former Celtic midfielder Stiliyan Petrov highlighted the attacking benefits of fielding both Camilo Durán and Callum Osmand simultaneously following Celtic's victory over Besiktas. After coming off the bench with Celtic trailing 1-0, Osmand scored immediately and provided an assist for Durán, who netted twice to secure the win. Petrov noted on TNT Sports that the duo's shared instincts as strikers allow them to combine effectively, even with Osmand playing out wide.

While club captain Callum McGregor recently warned that playing central strikers as wingers creates defensive vulnerabilities, Petrov's analysis highlighted the high offensive output the partnership provides. Manager Martin O'Neill introduced both players after the hour mark to spark the comeback, and the tandem's strong form presents a compelling attacking option going forward.
