WILLIE COLLUM insists St Mirren SHOULD have had a penalty against Rangers at Ibrox. An incident involving Manny Fernandez became a major talking point as Bojan Miovski bagged a last-gasp winner for the Ibrox side. That continued Derek McInnes' winning…

Scottish referee chief Willie Collum confirmed on the VAR Review Show that St Mirren should have been awarded a penalty against Rangers for a challenge by Manny Fernandez. Collum stated that Fernandez made reckless contact and should have received a yellow card without question during the match at Ibrox, which Derek McInnes' side ultimately won after Bojan Miovski scored a late winner.
Collum also reviewed a major incident from Celtic's clash with Motherwell, confirming the refereeing team erred by failing to award Celtic a spot-kick. Callum McGregor's goal-bound shot struck the arm of Lukas Fadinger, which Collum deemed to be in an unnatural position, noting that Scottish officials are coached to award penalties for similar incidents going forward.
