Relations between Celtic supporters and the club hierarchy remain strained and Simon Jordan has just dropped a grenade on the whole Ross Desmond AGM row.…

talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has criticized Ross Desmond over his conduct during Celtic's chaotic 2025 AGM. Jordan argued that Desmond handled his appearance poorly by baiting attending shareholders before shutting down the session when attendees reacted negatively. Desmond had represented his father, Dermot Desmond, calling sections of the Celtic fanbase bullies during the contentious meeting.
Jordan also commented on Celtic's financial approach, questioning why the club maintains massive cash balances such as £60 million at the start of a season. While acknowledging seasonal cash flow demands could explain the reserves, Jordan firmly stood by his criticism of Desmond's contentious handling of shareholders.
