Stan Petrov would like to see Martin O’Neill bring in a new coach or backroom figure to freshen
Former Celtic midfielder Stan Petrov has called for manager Martin O'Neill to bring in a new coach or backroom figure to revitalize the club. Petrov expressed his concerns following Celtic's recent run of three major defeats in eight days, noting that the team's current performances do not resemble the typical demanding style associated with O'Neill.
Petrov also criticized the club's transfer approach, arguing that signing six players in the final 48 hours of the window was detrimental to team building. Celtic's current coaching setup includes Shaun Maloney, Mark Fotheringham, and Stephen McManus, all of whom played under O'Neill but had not previously coached with him.
