Hibs manager Marink Reedijk believes his side deserved something from their 2-1 defeat to Celtic at Easter Road, and he wasn’t particularly impressed by Martin…

Hibs manager Marink Reedijk claimed his side matched Celtic and deserved at least a draw following their 2-1 defeat at Easter Road. Reedijk stated that Celtic struggled to create chances until late in the match, arguing that Hibs nullified the attacking quality of Martin O'Neill's side.
According to FotMob statistics, Hibs registered an expected goals tally of 1.19 compared to Celtic's 1.15, supporting Reedijk's view on chance quality. However, Celtic controlled 61% possession and produced 15 shots, with Camilo Duran scoring and Raphael Sallinger making key saves.
