Fifteen-year-old Zion Pullan has stepped up to Celtic B level, starting against East Kilbride in the KDM Trophy. The forward reportedly scored 58 goals across the club's U15 and U17 squads last season, surpassing 100 total goal involvements. Other youth players are also performing well, including Lucas Clearie with nine goals for the B team and Joel Dwumah with 12 goals in 15 games for the U15s.
The progression of these prospects comes as the Scottish FA proposes new youth development rules for the 2027/28 season. Under the proposals, Scotland-eligible U21 players would average 60 minutes per SPFL match, supported by a £1m incentive fund and penalties for non-compliance. Clubs will vote on the proposed regulations in October and November.
