A first half turnaround had the Tangerines on course to end lengthy Parkhead winless run before Liam Scales intervened…

Dundee United held Celtic to a 2-2 draw at Parkhead, spoiling the host's anniversary celebrations. Camilo Duran gave Celtic an early lead after 18 minutes, but quick goals from Zac Sapsford and Neil Farrugia put Jim Goodwin's side ahead before halftime. Liam Scales eventually equalized in the second half to salvage a point for Celtic.
Celtic manager Martin O'Neill made key halftime substitutions, introducing winger Jota and Hasseim Hassan. Jota set up Scales' equalizing header, but despite late pressure and chances from Mika Baur and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the home side failed to find a winning goal.
