The Ibrox icon has faced a repeated questions over a return to the club amid a tumultuous few years…

Graeme Souness has ruled out a return to football management or an official role with Rangers, stating that the boat has sailed for him. Despite past talks with former Rangers chief executive James Bisgrove and lingering fan hopes for a return, the former player-manager insisted he does not miss the day-to-day pressure of modern management.
Souness noted that his personality is not suited for contemporary football, where player power often overshadows managers due to high transfer valuations. Reflecting on his career across clubs such as Rangers, Liverpool, and Newcastle, he described himself as lucky to have transitioned successfully into television punditry.
