The returning boss is expecting dog's abuse in Gorgie but accepts it and insists nothing will change how he feels about last season…

Rangers manager Derek McInnes admitted he felt guilt over his decision to leave Hearts and expects a hostile reception upon returning to Gorgie. McInnes left the Edinburgh club to take charge at Ibrox after guiding Hearts to an 80-point season, narrowly missing out on the league title to Celtic on the final day.
McInnes stated he understands the frustration of the Hearts supporters, comparing his move to striker Lawrence Shankland's prior free-transfer switch to Rangers. Despite expecting a rough reception, McInnes praised his former squad and expressed pride in their achievements outside the Old Firm.
