Hearts recorded their biggest home win since April 2023 by thrashing St Mirren 5-0 at Tynecastle in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday. Laurent Mendy opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Calvin Miller converted penalties in the 32nd and 50th minutes. Claudio Braga added a fourth goal four minutes later, and Josh McPake rounded off the dominant victory in the 80th minute.

The comfortable win kept Wouter Vrancken's third-placed side close behind Rangers and Celtic ahead of their upcoming Conference League opener against Nordsjaelland.
