Hibs responded to their day one disappointment to make to the semi-finals of the newly revamped Tennent’s Sixes

Hibs reached the semi-finals of the revamped Tennent's Sixes at Glasgow's Braehead Arena before falling 4-1 to Rangers. Managed by Scott Allan, the Hibernian legends squad was forced to draft in Ross McCormack as an emergency addition following Kevin Harper's withdrawal. Their run was ultimately halted by an Andy Halliday-captained Rangers side, with the former Hearts player scoring alongside Kirk Broadfoot, Alan Gow, and Martyn Waghorn.
After an opening 1-0 defeat to Hearts and a win against Falkirk, Hibs drew 3-3 with Motherwell thanks to goals from Darren McGregor and Grant Holt. Hibs then dramatically edged Dundee United in the quarter-finals after Dan Carmichael equalized with the final kick of the match, forcing a shootout victory before their final-four exit.
