Jambos forked out nearly £2million to sign the Brazilian midfielder from Santa Clara last year

Hearts record signing Eduardo Ageu has been ruled out of the club's European campaign after suffering a new muscle injury in training. The Brazilian midfielder was initially slated to replace the injured Blair Spittal in the squad for the upcoming group stage, but Malachi Fagan-Walcott will now take the European roster spot instead.
Manager Vrancken confirmed the setback ahead of Thursday's match against Nordsjaelland, also noting Ageu will miss the upcoming weekend clash against Celtic. Hearts face midfield shortages with Tom Renaud and Spittal injured alongside Tomas Magnusson serving a suspension.
