Sunday’s all-Edinburgh Premier Sports Cup semi-final is looming…

Hearts will wait for the results of a medical scan on Rogers Mato before selecting their lineup to play Hibs in Sunday's Premier Sports Cup semi-final. The Ugandan international suffered calf and Achilles discomfort during Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Rangers. Although Mato missed training on Friday, head coach Wouter Vrancken noted the player is responding well to treatment.
While centre-back Stuart Findlay has returned to training following a groin issue, Vrancken remains without seven injured regular first-team players. Craig Halkett, Christian Borchgrevink, Harry Milne, Oisin McEntee, Eduardo Ageu, Blair Spittal, and Tom Renaud have all been ruled out. Forward Calvin Miller, who has scored eight goals this season, is expected to play a central role at Hampden Park.
