Former Hearts defender Christophe Berra has backed Stuart Findlay to recover after being substituted during the first half of a recent match. Head coach Wouter Vrancken withdrew Findlay while Hearts trailed 1-0 away against Kilmarnock, before substitute Harry Milne entered and Stephen Kingsley scored an equalizer to secure a 1-1 Premiership draw.

Berra recalled experiencing a similar tactical substitution as a young player against St Mirren in 2006 under manager Valdas Ivanauskas before recovering his form. He noted that adapting to Vrancken's attacking style from previous manager Derek McInnes' defensive approach involves tactical adjustments, while Hearts currently maintain third place.
