Marink Reedijk took my club on unforgettable adventure – here’s why he can do the same at Hibs

Beveren technical director Bob Peeters has backed new Hibernian manager Marink Reedijk to succeed at Easter Road following his appointment as David Gray's replacement. Reedijk lost his debut match 1-0 against Dundee United on Saturday amid supporter protests at Tannadice. Despite the difficult start, Peeters urged Hibs fans to remain patient, expressing strong belief in the 34-year-old coach's attacking philosophy and dedicated work ethic.

Peeters previously appointed Reedijk from Anderlecht's youth setup before the manager led Beveren through an undefeated promotion campaign with 28 wins from 32 matches. However, Reedijk departed the Belgian club in May due to uncertainty surrounding ownership budgets and long-term planning, prompting Peeters to predict that he will adapt to the physical demands of Scottish football.
