The Glasgow giants cleared the decks last summer - but some players are faring better than others on loan

Mark Pirie reports on how several Rangers players are faring during their loan spells away from Ibrox, highlighting that mixed fortunes have left some facing uncertain futures. Connor Barron has yet to make his debut on loan at Middlesbrough, prompting Barry Ferguson to suggest Rangers terminate the temporary deal. Meanwhile, Thelo Aasgaard has struggled for minutes at Anderlecht, making only three substitute appearances.
Other players have found greater success on their temporary switches. Lyall Cameron has thrived under Jim Goodwin at Dundee United, and Oscar Cortes has impressed with Huracan in Argentina, where an option to buy is included in his contract. Additionally, 16-year-old prospect Kyle Glasgow has scored four goals on loan with Alloa Athletic, earning a call-up to the Scotland under-21 squad.
