KEVIN THOMSON is the first to admit he made mistakes as a Rangers player that cost them goals. But more often than not his teammates made sure it didn’t cost them points. Dan Neil was the fall-guy in Gers’ draw…

Former Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson argues that the club's current attackers must become more ruthless to prevent costly defensive errors from dropping points. His comments follow Rangers' draw against Dundee, in which an under-hit backpass from Dan Neil was intercepted by Callum Jones to concede a goal. Thomson recalled that his former teammates regularly outscored opponents to cover up defensive mistakes during his time at Ibrox.
Thomson urged forwards such as Djeidi Gassama and £8.5 million summer signing Minsu Kim to increase their scoring output, especially with Lawrence Shankland sidelined by injury. Rangers currently sit four points behind Scottish Premiership rivals Celtic ahead of their upcoming match against St Johnstone.
