Carter-Vickers will miss Celtic’s Premiership clash with Hearts on Sunday, O’Neill has confirmed.
Martin O'Neill has confirmed that Celtic center-back Cameron Carter-Vickers will miss Sunday's Scottish Premiership match against Hearts. The defender has already sat out the team's last two games due to a muscular strain, despite initial hopes that he would recover in time for the weekend clash.
Speaking to Sky Sports, O'Neill stated that Carter-Vickers is not expected back for the Hearts match, targeting next week's fixture against Hibs as the earliest potential date for his return. Celtic face Hearts at 3pm on Sunday live on Sky Sports.
