Paulo Bernardo on the Celtic misstep by Brendan Rodgers that robbed him of one thing before exit

Midfielder Paulo Bernardo stated that former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers deployed him out of position, preventing him from establishing consistency. The 24-year-old made only 20 appearances across all competitions for the Scottish Premiership club last season, earning just seven starts before leaving on loan.

Bernardo completed a season-long loan move in August to Polish side Gornik Zabrze, who hold an option to buy him permanently. Bernardo explained that being shifted into a deeper defensive role rather than his preferred position contributed to his lack of playing time.
