The governing body as opening up talks about the future deal - with changes coming up in 2029.

The SPFL has given broadcasters the option to bid for live rights to all matches starting from the 2029-30 season. According to a report by Sport Business, this move could result in the traditional 3pm Saturday TV blackout being scrapped if an acceptable offer is made.
The blackout rule has been in effect since the 1960s to protect lower-league attendances. The SPFL is reportedly confident that soccer authorities across Scotland, England, and Ireland will not apply blocked broadcast hours from 2029-30.
